Largo da Ordem
A short drive brings the afternoon to Largo da Ordem, the heart of Curitiba's historic district. The pace slows here — old streets, colonial-era churches, small shops, and a late lunch, all on foot. Where the museum spoke to Curitiba's modernist identity, Largo da Ordem reveals the older city underneath it, a district that's anchored the city's commercial and community life for generations.
Night in Boqueirão
The day's final stop is Boqueirão, a neighborhood on Curitiba's south side with its own migration story layered under the city's. Mennonite families arrived here in 1933 after a failed colony in Santa Catarina, building small dairy chácaras on land that had recently been a cattle ranch. Their churches and schools grew Boqueirão into one of the city's largest bairros.
