Cabeza del León
Continuing back up RP 63, the Cabeza del León is a sandstone headland eroded into a profile that, from the right angle, resembles a reclining lion or sphinx. A 25-metre boardwalk leads to the viewpoint — ten minutes at most — but the formation is visible from the road before you stop. This is the geological feature that gives the park its name, and from this elevation the relationship between the cliff line, the coast, and the open Atlantic becomes legible in a way it isn't from the beach itself.
